Marines & Sailors Return to Camp Lejeune Thursday

Families and friends are welcoming home around 300 marines and sailors on Thursday.
The final elements of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment are returning to Camp Lejeune after a seven month deployment to Afghanistan.
They conducted operations with Afghan National Security Forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Around 300 of the battalion’s 1,000 Marines and Sailors will return today.
