My eyes aren't what they used to be (can't really tell what the ribbons are - can see the 2 badges but......).

Chances are he's a Vet that can still fit in his Blues.

A nam vet and with a KLM? There aren't too many of those. Two wars and only 1 CAR, and 1 national defense, 3 or 4 purple hearts?

:flag:That's just one of many things that's b!tched up. If he has a KLMK he should have a KLM too.

Is that the War on Terror Service medal at the bottom? Vietnam, Gulf War, still in after 9/11 and only a gunny. I wonder how many hash marks he was wearing on that set of blues.

Also, it doesn't look like there are any stars on his National Defense which would be impossible given the others.

That and only one sea service deployment.

So, who is it?

The ones I picked out for sure are KLM, Asia Service, three ribbons I see Vietnam Vets wearing, National Defense, Marine Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon and Purple Heart.

This is probably a dumb question, but on the blues with no collar covering ribbons, is it even authorized to not complete a row of ribbons before starting a new one? He has one on top and two in the second row. That could be one row of three.

I see what you're saying, I think he planned it that way to look more whoa. He's gradually building up his rack to the big doozie.

Sad.

Don't know what to think. Maybe he earned em all but from the looks he is maybe a little senile. That would explain alot. SF
