OCEANSIDE: Marines announce aircraft training for early June

CAMP PENDLETON ---- A special aircraft attack squadron will be training at Camp Pendleton for the first 10 days of June, Marine officials announced Thursday.
Marine Attack Squadron 513, from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., will be conducting Harrier training near Red Beach, officials said.
Harriers, which are vertical take-off and landing aircraft, will be flying near Interstate 5 at various times though June 10, officials said. The squadron will operate in small detachments of aircraft during daylight hours.
Officials said travelers in the area should not be alarmed by their presence.
