In uniform once again

Sid Groff of Butte always wanted to wear his military uniform again — and he got his wish on Monday. As a resident of Big Sky Senior Living, Groff's "wish" was granted through the facility's Ageless Dreams program. Above, wearing his U.S. Marines' uniform, he visits with Bessie Krisk, left, and Gloria Erickson, while Joe Tipton observes at Big Sky Senior Living. Groff, 90, also gave a presentation on Memorial Day. He served as a pilot during World War II. He retired as the director of the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology in 1983.
