today i was in class when my recruiter surprised me with the SRIP bonus for $20,000. Which is greatly appreciated.
I've heard that some people get bonuses for simply enlisting. Is that true and is that what the SRIP bonus is? thankyou for any help

Yep, the PFC is pretty smart. I googled it and found the answer in less than 1 second. You could have saved a lot of time, James.
