Open Enrollment???

my original ship date was June 7th. it got pushed up June 1st, for some odd reason with my knowing until maybe 2 weeks ago.
i recently ran into a retired marine. & i told him about it and what he said was when i got my original date that it holds a specific slot for the mos i picked.
so when they switched my ship date that i lost my slot for that specific mos, which qualifies me for open enrollment which i dont want.
does this hold any truth to it?

It could mean you lost your MOS school slot, but if you already signed your contract (the one with a MOS on it) then it's no longer valid. Ask your recruiter about it. I seriously doubt they would have taken your MOS away without your knowing.
