Parris Island Closing Down

I read this just moments ago on (T W S ) That in 2012 they plan on shutting Parris Island down and moving it to Camp LeJeune .
I don't know if this is true or not, but I for one hope not. If anyone else has heard of this can you explain in more detail for us, And for me.

According to this link, they're actually talking about moving it to Fort Jackson. http://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htmurph/articles/20041022.aspx I don't know what they are thinking. I don't believe it would be a good idea to have Marine recruits training in the same area as Army recruits.
