About how long does one usually tend to wait before shipping after DEP'ing in? I'm sure it depends on what MOS/Schools you're going for, but what seems to be the average?

When did you DEP? Most of us that have shipdates right after highschool is because we DEPd last summer. Well that's how it is for me. Yours was probably the first date available :[

Well, I'm sure it's different with MOS and recruiting stations and all that but my friend who also DEPd in with Avionics went to MEPS about 2 weeks ago and they gave him a ship date all the way in December! So ya :|

I just wanted to tell you before a Marine seen they say that these poolees have not earned the TITLE so we have no right to be saying OORAH or SEMPER FIDELIS.:evilgrin: We are allowed to say it once we return from boot camp if we have earned the title. Just looking out for a fellow poolee. God bless. Stay motivated. ;)
