Victim of plane crash survived helo crashes

DAYTON, Ohio — A military veteran who twice survived being shot down in helicopters in the Vietnam War will be laid to rest in his hometown of Dayton after being killed in a February airline crash that claimed 50 lives in upstate New York.
Burial for 62-year-old Henry Clay Yarber, served as a Force Reconnaissance Marine, was set for Friday at Dayton National Cemetery.
Yarber's daughter, Pamela Jones, says it took nearly three months for Yarber's remains to be identified — through DNA typing and a titanium knee replacement — and then shipped home.
Jones says she is angry after hearing testimony this week before the National Transportation Safety Board about whether the pilots may have been fatigued prior to the crash.
Continental Connection Flight 3407 went down as it approached Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
