I was in the Corps for 4 years and got out as a Sgt. I have been out for 4 years now. I am considering going back in. I was a POG before, but I am thinking about going back in as an 03. I was told I will keep my same rank, but I don't know if I like that idea. Seeing how a Sgt. in the Marine Corps is supposed to be a jack of his trade and know everything about his MOS-especialy a grunt. How am I supposed to lead Marines If I am on the same level they are learning a new field. I don't want to end up as a ****bird by being a Sgt. that doesn't know his job. Does anyone even know if they will let me go back in as a 03 as a Sgt. Am I crazy? Any thoughts.
