Ha, it's fun...3rd Bn. has a reputation of being the toughest (sorry 1st and 2nd), they make machines. Our DI's are crazy, and they killed recruits all the time down there, but it's all good because we got some good training. The weather is really cold and really hot, and the sand fleas are really bad.
Other than that, it's Parris Island, it's beautiful down there, which is the ironic thing...lol.

Parris Island is like no other place. Congrats Marine on a job well done. There is no special battalion when you have been there as permanent personnel they are all just one big green machine.
