This quesiton is geared toward those of you who have gone through some type of police academy as well as boot camp. I know that there are obvious differences between the two (such as the mission) but they're essentially both forms of "basic training" so I'd think that there has to be some similarities (such as discipline and bearing).
Can others offer additional similarities/differences? Mental stress? Physical training?
(I'm working on an article for a cops magazine and "may" start off the article with a few similarities between the two - if there are any - and don't wanna say anything ignorant.)
