Questions about SOI/Security Forces

From my understanding there is two training battalions in USMC SOI.


Infantry Training Battalion
and
Marine Combat Training Battalion


ITB is for Marines with 03XX MOS from my understanding. Now my question here is does MCSF (Security Forces) go through ITB or MCTB?

MCTB from my understanding is for all Marines regardless of MOS. Does this include females? If yes are males and females trained together?

Both, Marines coming from the fleet going to MCSF units, the NCO's and above, may have gone either route depending on their primary MOS.

Marines coming from boot camp going to MCSF units are all 03's; therefore, they go to ITB then MCSF basic.

MCTB is for all non-03xx Marines, male and female.

MCSF Marines are trained as 03's first. Then they go to further SF training.

Thank you both for your answers. I am kind of glad to hear MCSF goes through ITB, if/when I enlist I wanna get the best training possible.

Does MCTB cross train male/female?

I believe they're kept seperated as much as possible until they get to their respective MOS school's. I went west coast so I can't say for sure.
