My son was born on April 10th 2009 at 6:26am, 8lbs and 11 ounces, 21 inches!!


I love being a father!

First night was tough as new parents. He cried all night despite being fed. Turns out he is having a problem feeding, so off to the pediatrician and a lactation consultant. He lost over a pound in the first 3 days, but now has gained almost all that back and we are sleeping at night with a happy baby. We have a clock set to wake us up every 3 hours to feed him.
Monday he has blood work, baby checkup and a circumcision, and my wife has to do it all by herself since I have to go to court for a speeding ticket, lol, poor girl.

one little bit of information....cherish the times you spend with them, because boy do they grow up fast. your gonna get mad and just want to scream....trust me i do...ugh...but kids are great...doesn't matter how bad of a day you have....when you see there smiling face it makes everything better....doesn't matter how bad of a day at work i have when i pick my little ladies up from daycare ( single father of 2 little girls ) when they come running to me everything gets all better...

mine are now 5 going on 10, 7 going on 15, and well my son he is 12 going 18....lol....

A son to follow in your foot steps. When you go to MCRD to watch him graduate from boot camp the tears of joy that run down your cheeks makes it all worth while. Don't get me wrong here I am just as proud of my Navy son and my long haul trucker and my custom knife maker. You will find that raising sons is a pain in the ass and raising daughters is a big worry. Have fun while you can.
