Got a question, I was digging around in my old uniform stuff, and I got out my old jungle boots. The leather is still in great shape, and just needs buffed up a bit. The problem is the sole on the boots are pretty worn down, from use while in service, and alot of use afterwards in the timber from hiking, and stuff. I live in the central Illinois area, and was wondering if anyone knows a place that can replace the sole on the boot. I really don't wanna throw them away and buy a new set. They hold alot of sentamental value to me.:D

I find that hard to believe. :marine:

They design the soles for most of the hiking/military boot market.

They have a resole program for military boots.

Any decent cobbler should be able to re-sole your boots. Look in the yellow pages for 'shoe repair', likely you'll find someone local who can do it for you.
