The recruiter who is handling my prior service ordeal had me fill out a request for my dd214/records and we faxed it off last Thursday....when I initially called the lady at Quantico said 2-4 weeks...but should I expect a lot longer? (when I got out in 03 the taps civvy's told us horror stories of it taking up to half a year and that we should register...which of course I didn't)

Yeah it can take awhile.
It all depends.

It took me about six weeks any longer and I would check back in there office
