Marine Comfort Quilts

A United States organization is giving back to families who have lost loved ones in the war.
The Marine Comfort Quilt organization was at Northwoods Mall today for a quilt signing.
The organization was founded by two mothers of marines.
They thought they should give back and let the families who lost loved ones in the war know that their fallen hero would not be forgotten.
Sue Scheri Coordinator of the Army Quilts says, "Marine Comfort Quilts is a group of ladies and gentlemen from across the United States that have come together in a group to sew quilts for the families of all branches of the military that have lost a loved one in Iraq."
Each square on the quilts delivers a message of love and comfort.
Four–thousand quilts have been completed by the organization.
