ROY — Col. Gail Halverson, who earned the title of "Candy Bomber" during the Berlin Airlift, will speak Saturday at the Hill Aerospace Museum. He also will do a symbolic candy drop and sign copies of his book.

Halverson, who lives in Provo, is visiting the museum as part of Airplane Talk, a weekly event that gives the public a chance to talk to veteran airmen and crew members and learn about specific aircraft.

Halverson, who flew a C-54 during the airlift, will be at the museum at noon Saturday to visit with children and do his symbolic candy drop before Airplane Talk begins at 1 p.m.

All events are free and open to the public. The rest of the month's schedule:

• March 21: Tech. Sgt. Michael Jackson, of Clearfield, will discuss his experiences of flying on Air Force One with Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton from 1989 to 1992.

• March 28: Col. Frank "Fuzzy" Furr, of Park City, will relate his experiences with the OV-10 as a forward air controller at Da Nang and Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam, from 1970 to 1971.
