USMC transfer on cammies

Looked around for any previous threads about this and couldn't find it. Anyways, I was going through my old cammies and there is a faded out set that I have with the EGA and "USMC" on the breast pocket.

Does anyone know when they stopped allowing this? I know that I had worn them on inspections with no problems, for they were my "favorite" set until they were relegated to field use when they were too faded.

Desert Storm/Shield timeframe, I believe.

Thanks, that would explain why I only have one like that. I remember most of the NCO's were Desert Storm / Somalia vets. Being a new hardcharger I probably was trying to be like them.
