Ribbon-cutting ceremony at Quantico
QUANTICO — Training Command hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newly constructed headquarters facility Feb. 27. This development further highlights its transition to a fully functioning autonomous command within Training and Education Command. Training Command is responsible for providing all levels of military occupational specialty training to Marines and many sailors.

CFHS graduate now Airman 1st Class
Air Force Airman 1st Class Kurt L. Breckenridge has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, core values and military customs and courtesies. Breckenridge performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training, rifle marksmanship and field training exercises. He also received special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree relating through the Community College of the Air Force.

The 2006 graduate of Colonial Forge High School is the son of Randy and Nancy Breckenridge of Stafford.
