Im gonna join 1 year from now and have not signed anything. I want to get an MOS that I get to blow the crap out of stuff and is combat oriented. I also want an MOS that is uncommon, so I can advance. Suggestions?

Well, don't be an @ss. Those are part of the rules and if you want to be a Marine you're going to have to learn that respect. Especially dealing with a Gunnery Sergeant.
As for blowing things up. Either become a combat engineer or an infantry Marine. I doubt either are stellar, though, when it comes to promotion.
If you're more worried about promotions then become a pog.

Somehow, someway I ended up pushing for the GySgt yesterday. This one is gonna be good.
