Charlie Company returns

Marine Lance Cpl. James Logan, of 1/2 Charlie Company of Task Force Tarawa, embraces his fiance, Penny Greshan, on his first full day back from Iraq at Camp Lejeune, N.C., on June 23. The company suffered more casualties in a single battle than any other unit during the war in the battle for Nasiriyah, March 23.

The southern Iraqi city was fiercely defended by Iraqi forces and critical to coalition supply routes.

So glad they're coming home. Like you said, old enough to fight, but not old enough to vote - and drink. something's wrong with that picture. If I'm going to put myself in a position to be sent to war, I think I should have the privilege of voting for the person that might order me into battle. These guys are truly heroes.

I totally agree with you, Kegler300. Why can't they allow people in the military to do this? I'm sure there isn't to many people who would join any military branch just to drink or vote!

You're right, but it should be an automatic privilege once enlisted. Maybe we need to start a petition.

IV, spit that lemon out and enjoy a sweat tart!

I could picture you better with a smile if you quit *****'in.

The "last election" is over. Get over it and enjoy life.

Hope you're catching some big fish up there. No, I don't mean at work. LOL

You can vote again soon and I promise---it won't be rigged. LOL

Kegler300. How would we go about changing this! I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to see it changed!
