“Natural living” advocates unveil their latest planet-saving invention - the reusable toilet wipe (http://living.wallypop.net/wipes.html).
Surely it’s time global warming believers marked their houses (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/22/garden/22impact.html?pagewanted=1&_r=4&ref=garden)with some sign, a green pentangle or something, as a warning to visitors to enter at their own risk.

Those appear to be for the little ones which actually makes some sense. When extremely irritated, often a warm wet cloth is preferable to wipes (9/10 chapped ass babies agree!). When the time comes, I'd prefer to know there is a designated towel in the house for such purposes.

Having said all that, I agree on the extreme eco-nuts. They should move to some place nobody cares about (France comes to mind) and take really good care of that and let us get on with out lives...

Those are not a new invention, my mom enjoys reminding me how she had to use cloth diapers on me, and how easy I have it with the new throw aways I get to use on my son. But I guess coming from the same crowd of the inventor of the internet (Al Gore) they may have invented it.

Speaking of cloth diapers, I thought cloth diapers were done with, until I saw a "Dirty Jobs" episode with Mike Rowe. He was a baby diaper cleaning factory. I think it was in AZ but the amount of diapers they cleaned was amazing....nasty, stinky, horrible job.

jetdoc,
They still make them, hard to find but it is the only thing I use to shine those 6 coats of Clear Acrylic on my 68 Camaro.

I have wondered about that, the track at the university I graduated from has a track made from recycled diapers.

The truly funny thing is I pretended to bend over and tie my shoes and yes when I thought no one was looking I smelled the track, just in case:sick: didn't want my shoes to smell like, well baby azz.

So if you had accidently stepped in dog crap, you would be blaming the track to this day!

They would probably ban you for sniffing the track anyway! (ya perv!)

I wouldn't have been the first to smell it. The way I found out about the tracks surface was seeing a Marine SSGT tell his ROTC candidates to drop and smell the diapers. I had to stop and ask a CPL standing close by what he meant by it.
