Is this so? I read somewhere that a lazy eye was not DQable, and even that being legally blind in one eye was not DQable.

I went to MEPS and they got my eyesight for my good eye, but not for my bad eye. So they had my doctor fax them records and he has my bad eye at 20/200, which my SNCOIC says that I cannot be a Marine unless it is 20/60 or better. I highly doubt this is possible that I can achieve, however.

So I'm thinking maybe he has it confused with my good eye, and that eye has to be 20/60 or better? This just really sucks because I hate that I've gone through the process only for now to be told I have to have an unachievable vision measurement in my bad eye.

I have to get an updated evalution with my Doctor and don't want to put his career on the line by asking if he can just say its 20/60, so what other options are there? Can I appeal to someplace if I get turned down?
