So i just signed a contract to be a reservist. I wanted to know if i am able to access the GI Bill benefits after i get done with SOI and all of that or do i have to be activated before these benefits become available to me?

When the new GI Bill starts in August, you will have to have 3 months on active duty following your initial training to qualify for any benefits. <br />
