Funeral home helps troops overseas
Franklin Rainear, local owner and manager of The South Plainfield James W. Conroy Funeral Home, in cooperation with Operation Jersey Cares is helping the troops overseas as well as the returning soldiers and Marines that have been wounded in combat.
The James W. Conroy Funeral Home has become a drop-off point for the many items needed for Our Men and Women of The United States Military.
The funeral home flower door is open daily, including holidays, to donate items. Financial contributions may be made to Operation Jersey Cares, VVA Chapter 452 with “Operation Jersey Cares” on the memo line. Donations may be mailed to: Operation Jersey Cares, 20 W. Somerset St., Raritan, NJ 08869.
Volunteers are needed for upcoming events. For more information, call 908-725-1264.
