Wilmington man killed in Long Beach crash is identified

A young man killed in a crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach was identified Saturday.
Ruben Baca, 23, of Wilmington, died when his car crashed about 4:20 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of West Pacific Coast Highway, said Ed Winter of the Coroner's Office. The fatal wreck was the second in Long Beach on Friday. About 2:30 a.m. Friday, a vehicle crashed off the Second Street Bridge and landed about 50 feet below in the 3800 block of East Appian Way, killing the driver.
Cpl. Ruben Baca was a member of 3rd Civil Affairs Group out of Camp Pendelton CA. Ruben was also a member of LAPD and worked out of the South East Division... Ruben you will be missed by so many from CAG... We love you bro...
