This is my first post, but I'd like to start off by saying Thank You to all Marines who are serving, have served, and forever will be Serving this great country of ours! You have paved the way for a would-be Marine such as myself to step up and join a band of brothers like no other. I will be leaving for Parris Island S.C. on April the 13th. My question would be: Are there any Marines that attended bootcamp around the age of 24, which I will be? If so, did you see a deference in treatment or are you pretty much worthless as the other recruits? I'm not saying easier, but quite the opposite. Thank you for your time.

I turned 25 the day after graduation from P.I. I was just as worthless as the other recruits, and you will be too.

Awesome, I just didn't want to be the "odd man" out so to speak.
