CAS, I have a friend who received an "Other than Honorable" discharge during his second enlistment. Is he eligible for any VA benefits? Thanks. <br />

To the best of my knowledge, the answer is no. I am fairly certain the discharge must be an honorable discharge to be eligible for VA benefits. <br />

Just to clarify, there is a procedure he needs to do first. He needs a character of discharge upgrade.

C'mon...how many times do I have to tell everyone it is best to have a representative who can address the VA on your behalf.
If you aren't being helped then there is something wrong with the way you are approaching things.
