the new ANGLICO website, but I ran across a group of LeJune Marines who were with an "ANGLICO Platoon" (not sure what that was) and they meet periodically. If I can find that again, I'll post it.

Good luck and Semper Fi,

Vance

A post by
MSgt Robert R Russell

If it is the same one that I am thinking of,he was my Bn CO when I was at 9th Comm in my previous MOS as a 2531 Field Radio Operator. He was in command when I got there in 94 and he held his COC in the summer of 95 I believe.

Tha's all he said in response to the post, where I copied your original post.

Mark Helgeson retired in 1999 as a LtCol.
He can be found at www.facebook.com\markhelgeson. He has posted pictures there of 2nd ANGLICO from 1978 to 1980.
He has also posted a lot of pictures on the facebook page dedicated to 9th Comm Battalion from 1993 to 1995.

Many thanks for your input. I found Mark on Facebook too just by chance a month or two ago. He actually posted a couple of photos of me on his page just this last week. I was a C/Sgt at the time before aspiring to the dizzy heights of Capt on my retirement...lol

Many, many thanks for passing on that information.
