About every six months or so, the Marine Corps publishes a message that lists the unit awards for the past six months. (Sometimes longer). These are very helpful if you are looking to see what you might rate unit wise, if nothing else. All MarAdmins are available on this site, so if you don't mind searching a bit, they go back to 2000 or so. The Awards Manual is usually updated every year or so, so I wouldn't go too crazy going back that far.
You want to look for the message titled "AWARDS UPDATE".
