Corpsman History

I don't know if this should be here or in the Marine History forum, but since it's about Corpsman, I figured it should be here.

I know there is allot of it, but I love history, and I haven't heard allot about the history of Corpsman. Even just it's origins, and what not. I have always been curious, since I have learned allot about Marine Corps history, I have always wondered allot more about the Corpsman side.

It's just out of curiosity, and thought it would be a good topic.

TWITCH.....just the History of "The Hospital Corps", would make a dam thick book!! There are a couple of web-sites, with more info....."Corpsman Up", and one that has the words, Hospital Corps, in the title....think you'll have to search a little......ALWAYS FAITHFUL....Doc Greek
