This is in the back of my mind. I have an understanding that a Drill Instructor is high speed, high intensity, motivated, squared away, and most importantly- in control. So... what was it like for you Drill Instructors to transition out of being the biggest part of a new Marine's life and into a different MOS or retirement to being a civilian? Do you miss it? Do you find yourselves ever having a moment doing cadence?
