Airborne does not fraternize with braggarts like USMC.

P*ssy(sic) USMC Mike,
Why does the Marine (Corpse) Corps have the HIGHEST
desertion rate of all the United States Armed Forces branches?

I gather that you must have an opinion, so why don't we get together for a
cup of coffee and discuss it?

I've not the slightest idea how the individual became fixated on my email address but am more than willing to meet with him at a location of his choosing for a cup of coffee and discuss this assertion of his about my Corps. I do hope he will take me up on my offer so that I can utilize my Space A privilige.
So as not to go into this without due recon, does anyone have access to the comparitive desertion rates or can point me to a source?

Hi Gunner Mike,

There has been on other sites, people going after the Marines, just to cause problem and/or firefights............I would just ignore the e-mail........No matter how you answer, he will come back with something else........... Just to rile you up......For some reason that addy looks very fimiliar to me, believe he sent me something awhile back........I ignored and he faded away.........But it is your call..........

Roger,
I think that I missed the class on the Training Schedule for Turning the Other Cheek as well as the the class on How to Retreat.

Mike, there are so many trouble makers out there that you learn to ignore them..........Some are role players and they get points(for the game they are playing), others have nothing better to do and some like to start firefights. I feel that I would rather spend my time talking to Marines and helping out MY Brothers and Sisters because we are Family...........And my time is too valuable to be wasted on fools.......I have had my time in the foxhole......LOL

Sempers,

Roger

PS: There just might be enough ammo here or we can direct you where to get the special ordnance.............

I have reason to believe that begain his target fixation when I posted a request on the www.RCArmorForum.org for 1:16 decals for a M26 Pershing. An individual who states his name is Dave posted a reply to me:

Topic: M26 Pershing 1:16 Decals USMC
Author: Dave
Email: [email]accusare@attbi.com (VENI_VEDI_VENCI@attbi.com)

For those USMC try Harry Truman who said that only Joseph Stalin had a better PR machine tnan the USMC.

Dave

The same email is also utilized for Steve. It is the use of the Latin in the email address that helped in my search.

I have a friend tracking the origin of the emails. Good to have low friends in high places.

Mike, remind me to stay on the good side of you......LOL......If there is anything that I can do to help, let me know............

There are two types of people. MARINES, and those
who wish they were.. He was probally an army cook asigned to
airborne and now he thinks he's airborne.

Kalbo,
You must have gone to the ArmorForum and found my response. President Truman refused a PUC for 5th Marines because he felt that the Regiment got too much glory in WW1 and that the Marines put out too much propaganda. Truman was a Army National Guard Captain in Artillery.

"Why does the Marine (Corpse) Corps have the HIGHEST

IF I had chosen to respond, my response would have been:

"Please support your position/statement with facts, figures, and a reliable source. After verification, there MAY be something worthy of discussion."
--------------------
and sometimes added:

"Your proclivity for oral diarrhea has my sympathy. Take two aspirins and you should feel better in the morning."

It works for ME!

GunnerMike:

If all fails, maybe you should refer him to our Marine Corps site. Then all of us Marines can get on his army of one ASS. I am always ready for war. Shoot First, Ask Questions Later.

The Airborne (?) provovateur has apparently gone into hull defilade with his realization that discretion might be the better part of stupidity. Seems I read somewhere that the 187th RCT(Airborne) had a very high opinion of having 1 MEF on the flanks. Too bad he declined my offer for a meeting, I was looking forward to some TAD time from the home duty station in 1st CivLant.

May-be this guy wasn't even in the military. theres a lot of wan-
be's on a lot of web=sites. They want everybody to think they
are something that that THEY WISH they were. I respect any
one who served in the Armed Services and did so Honorablely.

Hey guys, this is one of Gunner's Armor site buddies.

www.RCArmorForum.org Admin has blocked all attbi.com IP's (Admin's a decent guy) and we're now firing Abuse/Terms of Service violation claims to the Attbi.com Abuse-addy and his presumed semi-legit alias on AOL ( in this git's case - ******* OnLine )

We'll keep you guys up to date.

PS: where does having an Canuck ex-boss that went over to join you guys in 'Nam rate? Name of Paul Lafleur, rank/unit unknown. He used to tell me some ~creepy~ stories...

Last I heard he was fighting the big C.

WhiteWolf , Canuck.
