Hey y'all, it's me! Yep, that's right, the pup. :) I had kind of a close call this weekend, and I figured I'd tell someone. On Friday, I was going to go to the Ontario Mills mall and see MIB II again with some friends. It was late, however, and my grandma told me I couldn't go. My older sister went to see Signs a little later, though. I went to my friend's house instead and didn't think anything of it. I found out on Saturday that there was a shooting at the mall at the time I would have been there. My sis says that all these people came screaming into her theater right at a really scary part in the movie, so she got a bit freaked. From what I hear (I guess the article was in the LA Times, but I havent seen it yet) 4 people were shot, but I don't think any of them were killed. All I could think was, "Wow, what if I had been there when that happened? I wouldn't have known how to react. So I just thought I'd share that with you. On to some strange, but true, things...
I've been reading Ripley's Believe it or Not...Some interesting facts:
The Sergeant Fish is so called because it is big, bony, tough, voracious, big-mouthed and has stripes down its side like a Marine.
DOUBLE ENTENDRE:
My dear ___________,
The great love I have hitherto expressed for you
is false and I find my indifference towards you
increases daily. The more I see of you the more
you appear in my eyes an object of comtempt.
I feel myself every way disposed and determined
to hate you. Belive me I never had an intention
to offer you my hand. Our last conversation has
left a tedious insipience which has by no means
given me the most exalted idea of our character;
Your temper would make me extremely unhappy,
and if we were united, I shall experience nothing but
the hatred of my parents, added to everlasting dis-
pleasure in living with you. I have, indeed, a heart
to bestow, but I do not desire you to imagine it
at your service. I could not give it to anyone more
inconsistent and capricious than yourself and not
capable to do honor to my choice and to my family.
Yes, indeed, I hope you will be persuaded that
I speak sincerely, and you will do me a favor
to avoid me. I shall excuse your taking the trouble
to answer this. Your letters are always full of
impertinence and you have not a shadow of
good sense or wit. Adieu. Adieu. Believe me,
MY advice to you is that it is impossible for me,
to be your most affectionate friend and humble servant.
(Now read, omitting every other line)
Have a great day y'all!
Love and God bless,
Morgan
