What are the good majors that can be used for becoming a marine officer? Are their any good general ones that apply to many different MOS's or does each MOS have a specific major that is good for it?

Any major is acceptable- it does not determine you mos, but if you have an idea of what you want to do, then you should work on studying it. Such as if you want to work in the intel field, then you should choose something close to intelligence studies or international relations to better your knowledge in that field. But the actually degree doesn't matter, you could study business management and still go into the intel field, although your odds of getting the position might not be as great. You have to qualify with the ASVAB and pass the mos school in order to get the position you seek.
