A little help!

Hi everyone! I'm new to your group.. I'm not sure how to go about this, so I guess I'll jump write in.. I have some ?'s & hope I dont sound too stupid. 1. Normally how long does a deployment last? 2. Is is usual if someone is special ops, not to be able to tell where they are? I know this probably sounds nuts to you all, but I need to know. Thanks

Deployments last as long as they last, darlin'. Usually about 6 months on the average. If yer ol man is with some spec ops outfit, you won't know where he's goin' or what he's doin'. Most generally he ain't gonna talk about it anyway.

1. A normal deployment can last as long as they are needed where they have been deployed...........Or longer if they are deployed to another region...............

2. Special Operations are classified, and nobody knows where they are and/or what they are doing and/or how long they will be deployed..........

Thank you both!!! you have just eased my mind tremendously!!! Someone is trying to tell me that my ole man is lying to me about what he does & that marines are never deployed for that long!
