New Squadron for Airwing?

I'm a student as 6114 at MCAS Camp Pendleton CNATT MARUNIT. I've heard rumors about there being several Squadrons being opened here at Camp Pendleton and New River. Anyone know where I could get concrete evidence on this? Anyone know if it's true?

I chose West Coast for duty section, and was hoping that my chances of being station here would be better if new squadrons opened here.

Any information regardless my thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is one new Squadron scheduled to be activated this year (HMLA 469) . Heard it from a friend who is a Lt. Col (air) as well as several other websites. HMLA 469 is set to be stationed in Camp Pendleton.
