Just a quick question, I have fairly bad vision, I wear glasses all the time.
If I were to try Reconaissance, could I have my glasses?
Or will I need some kind of surgery.

I know im a long ways off from Recon, I know all that stuff :p.
Thanks!

You can have your glasses...you bought and paid for them.

It would be a liability to the Marine Corps....if you weren't wearing your specs and walked into a bulkhead or fell down a ladder well.

When you get to boot camp you will keep civilian glasses until you go to medical and they issue the BCG's or whatever they have in military style today.

Your civilian glasses won't be worn again until your trip home from the depot.

If you done a little recon on this site.....it will go into depth with LASIK surgery and the pros and cons.

By the way....don't ask anymore questions about recon....until you read the 2000+ threads on this site!

you can go through BRC with your BCG's... as long as your vision is correctable to 20/20
