Marine Fought Wars.

First off, I searched google and this site but couldnt find what I am looking for.
My question is: Does anyone know, or know where, to find information on all of the wars fought by Marines?
I have to write a bunch of essays, and I thought I would write a one or two page essay for each war fought by Marines, outlining who led them, what tactics where used, any significant roles specific Marines played in the outcome of the war, and the details concerning the battle/war, and so forth.

So if anyone could help me out I would be greatly appreciative.

Well that's gonna be a pretty big paper because Marines have foughts in ever conflict since 1775. I would go to Google or Wiki to start out with, or check your library.

I have gone to google, nothing turned up, but then agian I am not very good with google so I could have passed somthing up. As for Wiki, I didnt think of that, I did hear they are not altogether the best site to trust...

There are some things on wikipedia that aren't accurate because its a site where anyone can edit. Even though I'm not a military historian, the things I have looked up on that sight look pretty legit. Give it a try.

What do you suggest I type in the search bar? I just tryed several combinations of words but nothing turns up...

Go to Wikipedia, search "usmc", look to the left, find "Engagements", copy all of the engagements down, go from there.

Go there then scroll down to "United States Battle, Campaign & Service Streamers" Those are the streamers that are on the Colors. (I don't know why A-stan and Iraq aren't there yet.) That is where I would start, if you need more I'm sure they can be found as well.
