At the VA hospital in Menlo Park, California, the "Paws for Purple Hearts Program" teaches soldiers to train dogs as treatment for PTSD.
In a year and a half, after they have completed their training, the dogs will be assigned to wounded vets and will stay with those vets for the rest of the dogs' lives.
