What one does on a Sunday in northwest Indiana besides get sunburned.

I rode my mountain bike to this dedication and back on a clear sunny day in northwest Indiana.

Looks good! I have a career Army friend who lives in Indiana. I have always had the "Go for it!" attitude when it comes to memorials! Semper Fi!!

This is my page of the Community Veterans Memorial Park.

The other day, one of my son.
Said "Dad, why don't you let that war go!"
One doesn't glorify war, but one does render honors to those that served.
It's hard for them to understand why we do things.
The Vietnam site of this Memorial park, has a "huey" helicopter resting in a rice paddy.
A statue of a "Special Forces soldier"made from the picture above is in back of house/temple.

They spent over 1.3 million on this Memorial Park.

I ride my mountain bike there and back a few days of the week.
It makes for good exercise.
