Wrench....are you receiving any disability, from the V.A.?? Seven years ago, two months after I sent in my first claim, I was awarded 50%, for P.T.S.D. My C&P exam was done at James Haley V.A. Hospital, in Tampa, Fl., by the Director of Psychiatry, at the hospital. When I received my "notice", I also got a specific list of exactly what the V.A. was looking for, when they make their decision. A "GOOD" V.A. rep. will give out a list of exactly what is expected, from the claimant, to receive 100%, for their Combat wounds....physical, or emotional. I received my notice of 100% disability, on December 27th, 2007. My C&P exam, was just OVER two and one half hours!! BUT.....that's MY experience, with the V.A., most Vet's who are turned down, DO NOT have ALL the correct evidence needed, ON PAPER! A GAF score of LESS than 50%, is a MUST, to start with. My VERY BEST to all who apply!.....SEMPER FI......Doc Greek

Doc,
My C&P Exam took almost 4 hours. No Break. I sat in my truck after that for hours in the V.A. parking lot shaking and crying. My head was spinning for weeks. That was some rough s**t.
