First and foremost, happy birthday Marines! Semper Fi
I am a Marine Sergeant, Combat Instructor at SOI East, and am considering a lateral move into a combat arms MOS at the end of my tour. The one that specifically stands out to me is 1812 Tank Crewman. I've always loved tanks and give a lot of respect to the tankers.
I'm not looking for the textbook definition of what the duties and responsibilities of a tank crewman are, I can find that easily. I am trying to find current or recent former tank crewman to give me the full scoop of what it is like, what the deployments were like, common problems with the M1A1, etc. If there is anyone out there who can fill me in, please reply.
