Shore Marines fete Corps' 233rd
MANASQUAN: The Jersey Shore Marines will celebrate the 233rd birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps at 6:30 p.m. today at Edgar's Pub, 153 Sea Girt Ave.
The group meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Manasquan Veterans of Foreign Wars hall.
The birthday gathering at Edgar's Pub costs $20 a person and includes three hot dishes, a salad, soda, water and dessert, with a cash bar available. For more information, e-mail shoremarines@gmail.com or call (732) 921-7411.
