So, I was walking down the street in my military surplus green sweater, and a guy stopped as he saw me and said "Happy 233 Birthday Marine Corps." He then asked me if I was "in the suck" and congratulated me for wearing a USMC sweater (it has no insignia or marks of any kind upon it).
I am junior in college, but almost every Summer since graduating high school I have leaned towards joining (talking to recruiter, etc). It is little happenings like today that throw me right back to that desire.
I have a year more in college but I hope that one day I can count myself as one among you. For know,
