Got these for my car. The military haters will hate me, but I earned that EGA even though no military affiliation is required to get the plates. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the EGA is just a sticker rather than something that's part of the plate.

I don't drive to school most of the time, so I'll avoid most of the hipsters. When I do, I park some 1/4 mile off campus anyhow.

They just had an anti-Marine Corps rally on campus a couple weeks back.

Good plates. I have had a Special Plate for a Very long time. Long enough for it to wear out, and an exact number specially re-made for it. Its a Combat Purple Heart, and you MUST show a copy of your DD-214, and Proof from the Military Order of The Purple Heart to get it. Starts out PHA-(then a picture of the Purple Heart), then your Special Number. I will keep this number for the rest of my Life, as it is a low number of the First Bunch made. Since you only earn the Purple Heart from the Military, never felt the need to show I was a Vet. Its Good Oklahoma did this. A few other States have one as well.S/F.

Yea a few years ago I tried to get some while the Sqd was still active and I was told I had to have been in that Sqd. currently, active or reserves. Still cool.

California also has Purple Heart plates as well as Medal of Honor and Disabled Vet plates for 100% disabled vets but those require DD-214 or other evidence to get.

I posted this in the Poolee Hall for Moto.

Oohrah, Ecom. Watch out for those leftist activists.

An M3, Accord? You're living right.
