Brig. General R. Steve Ritchie, the only Air Force “ace” pilot in the Vietnam War, addressed a full auditorium Thursday at The American Veterans Center’s 11th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.
Ritchie, a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, is the only the U.S. Air Force pilot ace in the Vietnam War; he shot down his fifth MiG-21 on August 28, 1972.
