Hello everyone! Well i go down to MEPS next week for my physical, When i was about 12 years old i had minor surgery on my chest to repair cartledge. Im really nervous because i Really want to become a Marine. Anyone got advice as to what im going to be told? Also thank you for any advice in advance!

Have all of the records from the surgery as a part of your package. If it really was something minor it isn't much to worry about. Worst case you may have to wait a few days to get your waiver approved.

I'd had surgeries before I enlisted, the doctor just looked at the records and moved me along.

Ok will do, I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow so i will make sure to get all that stuff ready. Thanks for the help!.

The Marine Corps is always in need of new recruits so they will do there very best to get you in. If your minor surgery doesn't bother you during physical activities you should be ok. I wouldn't stress over it.
