This tidbit of information about the Corporal was passed on to me by someone who isn't even related to me.
The young man is on his way home via Airplane from Germany!
I don't have any more information. Perhaps I'll get a phone call, a letter, or some pictures. If I do, I'll share them.

I just got off the telephone with the young Marine. Although he has been in his mothers home since thursday, if I hadn't of called.. I would have never known. (Not his fault).
Man, oh man, it was good to hear his voice. He sounds understandably different. He doesn't mind talking about his experiences..but not to everybody, not now. He did say that his mortar tube was pointed straight up!
I mentioned that if he had the time he should log on and thank all of you for your support. Right now is "catch up time" for bills etc.,etc. I'm sure that once things get leveled off more info. will be heading this way.
